Greetings! I own a 2010 Higlander base V6 model which came with Toyo A20 Open Country P245-65-17 tires. Very nice ride indeed, even bumpy road sections were barely felt.
Because I live in Canada I wanted some good winter tires. Bought a set of wheels, same size (17X7.5, 5 on 114.3 with 35 offset) and after much research bought a set of Hankook i-Pike RW ll tires P245-65-17. Had the tires on for two weeks now and the ride is terrible, it's almost as though I have no shocks at all! I feel every bump in the road. Nice tires and virtually no road noise - but the ride. I measured the height of the Hankook and saw that it is 3/4 inch less in height than the original Toyo's. Should I have installed P245-70-17 tires possibly to gain the extra height and and perhaps a better ride. I do not know what height the 70 has over the 65 and if the height may be too close to a shock - but am going to find out. The ride is just awful. I am also wondering if I do change to the 70 height would I void my Toyota warranty?
I really appreciate help on this problem.

Thank you for your comment MikeyD25. Yes, the tire pressure is set correctly at 30psi on all 4 tires as per the door label setting. Nice tread pattern, very quiet tires but a real bumpy ride.
